Privacy Policy

Effective 23 September 2026. This policy describes how Evolution Freedom Ltd (“we”, “us”) handles information in the Yieldly iOS, Android, and web app (“Yieldly”). Yieldly is a dividend-income tracker for UK and US portfolios. It is not a brokerage, bank, payment institution, or investment adviser.

1. Who we are

2. What we store on your device

Yieldly does not create a Yieldly user account. There is no Yieldly login. Your book stays on the device you use, including:

Holdings, lots, wrappers (ISA / SIPP / taxable / other), goals, and display preferences (including GBP or USD)
CSV and Trading 212 Activity Statement PDF files you choose to import, processed on the device
If you connect a brokerage: a SnapTrade userId and userSecret in the iOS/Android secure store (Keychain / Keystore). These are not a broker password.
Trial start date and whether you purchased Monthly or Lifetime (Apple records the purchase; the app stores a local entitlement flag)

Resetting the demo clears local state and, when SnapTrade is configured, asks SnapTrade to delete the remote user record.

3. What the Yieldly API sees

The hosted API at https://yieldly-api.fly.dev is a secret-holding proxy. It forwards signed requests to SnapTrade and, when configured, Alpaca Market Data. It also fetches public Yahoo Finance last prices, dividend calendars, symbol search, and FX (GBP/USD). Nasdaq is used as a public source of US payable dates when available. The proxy does not keep a copy of your holdings after the response is sent. Broker and market credentials live only on that server, never inside the App Store binary.

4. Third parties (only if you use those features)

Apple — if you start a trial or buy a subscription, Apple processes the payment. We do not see your full card number. See Apple’s privacy policy.
SnapTrade — optional, read-only brokerage Connection Portal. Broker login happens on SnapTrade’s site. See snaptrade.com/privacy.
Yahoo Finance — public quotes, dividend history, FX, and symbol search. Yahoo ex-dates and implied pay dates stay Estimated until broker, SnapTrade, or CSV cash confirms a payment. See Yahoo privacy.
Nasdaq — public US dividend payable dates for listed stocks and ETFs, when the ticker is available on Nasdaq.
Alpaca — optional US market snapshots when API keys are set on the Yieldly server. See alpaca.markets/privacy.

Without SnapTrade keys, Yieldly does not connect a brokerage. Market prices still load from Yahoo. Alpaca is used for US last prices only when keys are on the server.

5. What we do not do

No advertising SDK and no analytics suite that uploads your holdings
No trading, order placement, or access to withdraw cash
We do not sell your personal information

6. Legal bases (UK / EEA)

Where UK GDPR applies, we process device-side data because it is necessary to provide the app you asked for (contract) and, for optional broker connect and market data, because you chose those features. You can stop using Yieldly and delete the app at any time.

7. Children

Yieldly is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country). You must be 18 or older to purchase a subscription.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
